Match Night

The Score Sheet App

Keep score on your phone or tablet — the full 13-game shooting format, player stats, and one-tap submit to the MFDA. It saves as you go, works with no signal, and sends the result automatically once you're back online. Free, no app store needed — it runs on Android and iPhone/iPad.

Download for Android (APK) → Open the Score Sheet App →

Install it

Android users: download and install the app. iPhone/iPad users: open the app and add it to your home screen. Either way it opens full-screen like any other app — icon and all — even at a bar with no connection.

1. Tap Download for Android (APK) above.

2. Open the downloaded file (pull down your notifications or check Downloads).

3. If your phone asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps — that prompt appears because the app comes from our site instead of the Play Store, and it's a one-time OK.

No prompt, or the install won't start? Turn the permission on yourself: open Settings, search for “install unknown apps”, pick the browser you downloaded with (usually Chrome), and switch Allow from this source on. Then open the downloaded file again.

4. Tap Install — the MFDA icon lands in your app drawer.

Samsung phones: if Auto Blocker is turned on, the install is silently blocked. Turn it off first — Settings → Security and privacy → Auto Blocker → Off — install the app, then turn Auto Blocker back on.

Rather not install? Open the app in Chrome and use menu → Add to home screen instead — same app, no download, and it skips Auto Blocker entirely.

iPhone & iPad (Safari)

1. Tap Open the Score Sheet App above.

2. Tap the Share button (the square with the up arrow).

3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.

4. Tap Add — the MFDA icon lands on your home screen.

What it does

The whole sheet

Pick both teams, set the lineups, tap the winner of each of the 13 games, and log the player stats — 180s, 120s, Hats, 9 Marks, High In/Out.

Works offline

No signal at the board? Everything is saved on your phone as you enter it, and a submitted result waits and sends itself when the connection comes back.

Counts for standings

Submitting from the app is the official match result — the same result the website's score sheet sends. Both captains submit; the MFDA cross-checks the two.

Prefer a bigger screen? The full score sheet works great on a laptop, and the printable format sheet (PDF) is always there as backup.
